Another small tool for you guys :
Cab creator for PointUI.
(Self Explain ;-))
Anyway :
This will create a nice Cab to install your theme or applet.
It allow you to put multiples themes and/or multiples applet into one single CAB (cool for restoration).
The installation process ask for the Storage (for those who installed Home2 on another Storage) but always in the standard directory.
Read usage (not too complicated ;-))
You now have a nice Cab Installer (unsigned) to provide your theme/applet.
To install the Theme, simply run the CAB on the device (and choose your storage).
You can easily uninstall the theme via the standart Control Panel un-install app.
Installation:
Extract all files in the same directory, launch the app ;-)
I know that making a cab is not difficult, but I was thinking that it would be even more easier...
And, as you may have seen, there is a lot of place free, in fact this is occuped in the version I got by an Applet Cab creator.. I first one to be sure that the easier one is ok ;-) (theme don't have recursive directory's, applets do...)
Requiert .NET 3.5
Like Always, leave comments...

Log:
V0.0.2b:
Corrected a filename bug
Corrected another dumb bug...
Added Check Update ;-)
Added Compression ;-)
v0.0.3b:
Added Applet support.
Added Multi Theme support.
Added Multi Applet support.
Now, you can create an apllet CAB, a Theme CAB, or a mixed of Theme and Applets or either multiples Themes / Multiples Applets
v0.0.4b:
Missing (same name) files bug corrected
v0.0.5b:
As requested, I added Home2 directory. Put files with the directory structure you want from Home2 direct in there. (Allow easier Translation changes,...)
Usage :
Drop your Theme(s) directory(s) on the right blanco List.
Drop you Applet(s) directory(s) on the left blanco List.
For files that need to be for example in Home2\help, drop a directory named Help onto the Home2 input zone.
Type your name in.
Type a description in.
Press "Generate Cab" and VoilĂ !
This is done, you have a nice cab that will auto-install your Apllet(s) / theme(s) on the mobile in
the right directory.
ONLY one thing : Make sure you drop Applet on Left and Themes on Right as I cannot control if you do it right (yeah maybe testing for specific files) :D
One sample for the result :
First Alpha of Montecristoff WWtheme/Applet take :
Applet : 391.1 KB (zipped)
Theme : 596.3 KB (zipped)
Cabbed Applet : 113 KB
Cabbed Theme : 550 KB
Result : 663KB in two OR 1 CAB file in place of 987.4KB ;-)

not a support question
