hi montecristoff
i've jus installed home2 on my xperia x1 and i was wondering which is best to suit my phone, QVGA, VGA, WVGA or WQVGA?

@costp: you could easily find them by placing full color icon on a calibrated background like a graph paper ;)

@needy_1: Sony Xperia is a WVGA device.

anyway, I only got a VGA device, are the proportions/positions ratio the same for all device ?

Yes, by respecting half ratio for QVGA. Same for Wide resolutions.

Are there plans for an update manager so that when my favorite theme is fixed, PointUI can tell me and download the new version?

Are there plans for an easy to access Theme Store that shows current version/build for each theme with an easy to access [click here to install]?

If there were an update manager for Themes, I would assume this would carry over to Applets.

I guess I'm thinking of something ala AMO (mozilla's add-on repository).

Just want to say thanks for all the work being put in by everyone...I am running a Samsung Saga, and this all looks and works fantastic. With that being said, if anyone were to create a Denver Broncos or a Duke Blue Devils theme, I probably wouldn't complain. ;)

Which "pint" theme?
And what do you mean by "blocks out my sms.mms, capabilities"?

FYI, Themes only contain graphics and don't interfere with phone or pda fonctionnalites.

I am not deprate to have Amana theme into the store but Alien gave me all of his initial work on Amana theme and I worked the rest from there on. I have requested several places so maybe you feel bad and add it here but you never did.

I even gave you credit in Amana theme for not putting the Amana into the store but I guess I have to buy my ticket and come to France and have a talk with you:D

man, i need help... How to change the "search" button into something else? I mean the search button below applet. As i seen others theme, its something else not Search . Help needed, newbie here....

Hi, this is my first post.
What you see from the other themes is the previous version of Pointui.
The new versions have a search bar in the bottom.
You can only hide it by substituting it with a transparent images.
Make a search in the community and you'll find what you are looking for.

I have to make a request to all the community: I have red the dcoumentation on creating themes, and I have created one.
But I have only images (jif), what I need to transform them in a theme?
Should I put all the file in a folder and stop?

Tell me please..

Hi marcorock,

Yes, you just have to put all your .jif files in a single folder.
The name of this folder is your theme name.

Hi to all,

I am new in Pointui and you guys really provide great themes. I followed the instruction to download but i cant seems to load any of them in my Home2 execpt the wallpaper and so the icons remain the same as default. Please help.

Montecristoff mi inglish is so short but i have a question for you
exist some theme than they have suons included...
if i select a botton when touch this ringer... example
or can you create this?

@pea01: you probably have a subfolder under the theme folder which must only contain *.jif files.

@colombiano: if I understand well, you want to assign sounds when pressing a button. There is no such functionnality for the moment...
