After dipping my feet in with Virtuo v1, I decided to have another go, I've only just started but thought it'd be good to develop it and post progress, so I can get feedback. I will be doing it in VGA and QVGA, and once most of the elements are skinned I will put the files on. I will also include additional complimentary graphics for some of the more popular applets.

Sorry it looks a bit grainy, Can only do 16 bit screengrabs in MyMobiler, it looks much better running on my diamond ;]. The 4 navigation buttons get a little bigger when they are active ("Phone" in this example)

Mac OS style, nice.
Perhaps change the gray color of sms/email in black.Posted 1 year ago # -
I was trying to avoid any Mac comparisons, but yes it does appear similar. I will increase the contrast between the envelope and the button background.

I was talking about the background of the number 80.

Nice color.. but personally i think it would be more attractive and sexy if it had black colored borders. specially d main 4 navigation buttons.. just a thought! :p

Can you make the bottom row of icons (call log, apps, contacts & messages) larger ?
Posted 1 year ago # -
@bhopali - they get larger when you touch them
@razorbone - I will try it with black borders
@lolo33 - Yes I agree black will be the best colour to use there, thank youPosted 1 year ago # -

There's no solid guide, you just have to do what we all do - download the original theme PNG files and modify them

Thanks Montecristoff, I will be working on it this weekend - hopefully if someone can answer my standard applet questions (skinning of today, map, messages etc.) then I can release it soon.

check your emails LOL

Progress is slow, I have the PSD mostly done, however my ActiveSync is not working properly and I am lucky if I get a connection. It's a lot of editing/restarting. I will try and update files from my office PC, which works fine.
@gmfeny: my email?
Posted 1 year ago # -
where is the download link?
Posted 1 year ago # -
It's not available just yet met.in, I'm working on it right now (managed to fix ActiveSync), should be in the next few days.

Hope u will release a QVGA version, man!
Posted 1 year ago # -
Yes, although I was happy to release the source files of my original theme to help people out and build off it, I will be keeping these ones private and building the QVGA version myself shortly after finishing the VGA one.

ha, that looks like how I feel
I'm too busy at the moment to work on it, here's my work in progress so far - it's exactly like the screen grab. I will work on the rest of it as soon as I have the chance. Check the AnalogClock thread by MarcLandis for the accompanying skin for that applet.
