    Hi all,

    This is my first theme for PointUI - Oranganodised Black. Funny name I know :P...
    I have gone fairly deep with the graphical mods (I thought so anyway) so give it a whirl, let me know of any bugs in the theme and I hope you all enjoy.

    Screens:

    Cheers.

    PS: I have also attached my .PNGs if there are any QVGA users who would like to resize for a QVGA version.

    ------------
    CHANGE LOG:
    ------------

    V1.1:
    New quicklaunch button.

    ------------

  6. This causes my X1 to crash servereley!!!!

    It loads ok and looks awesome but when i select menu the X1 crashes. I get error messages gwes.exe has failed and home2.exe has failed. I then have to soft reset the phone

    Now I have to uninstall Home2 cause i cannot change the theme as it just causes it to freeze!!

    Do I need to uninstall or is there somthing I can try first? Ok i just tried deleting the theme but now the whole thing is stuffed im going to uninstall this program.

    Thanks
    The theme does look good though

    Hi, I just replied its an amazing skin and it looks great. The downside for me is that everytime I press on menu pointui crashes. This only happens with this skin. I HAve just uninstalled pointui and reinstalled it, This still doesn't solve the issue...

    I'm Running an Xperia X1 with Windows Mobile 6.1 Dutch.

    I hope you or a pointUI employee can help fix this issue.

    Try to edit the DB.xml file in home2 folder. Just change the name of the theme

  9. I have had to uninstall its causing nothing but error messages. ill re install Home2 but as booyou has mentioned it has not solved his issue.

    I will try myself if its still playing up ill try your fix.

    thanks

    Well it is not a fix, just a way to change the theme without reinstaling the software. Then exit and start home2 and the theme should be changed.

  11. no good.

    I cannot do anything on the pannel and the X1 just freezes so I had to uninstall. I have reinstalled now but all I get is the intro about "this product is free" etc etc and no way of getting off it, i am just stuck on this screen so looks like ill have to uninstall again.

    basically Home2 will no longer work. I have done soft resets, Unistalls and reinstalled with a soft reset and still cannot get the program to work anymore.

    How frustrating

    I have to go out now but ill be on later to give more info. Thanks for your help

    Sorry guys...

    I know what the problem is!

    I'll have a fix for you very soon!

    EDIT #1: Done guys. Uploaded version is working on my Diamond. My original zip only contained my changed items. I apologise for any troubles it caused anyone.

    @Jasand: Try as ibrythill said - edit DB.xml and change the theme to "Default". Then you can use my fixed version. If that doesn't work, uninstall Home2 then go to \Program Files\ and delete the Home2 folder.

    Then try reinstalling PointUI. Then my fixed version.

    Cheers.

  15. I think there are some pngs missing, in your VGA zip there are 194 files... and in your PNG zip there are 74 files... I have tried to do a QVGA version, but it paralized pointui when I enter QuickLaunch or Menu...

    So if you can post the missing png files..

    @caballero600:

    I only changed those files dude. The remainder of the files missing are the original ones and can be found in the original 'Tinted' zip theme for QVGA. It would be much quicker to just resize the ones I edited as opposed to resizing all the VGA files.

    And yes missing files has caused PointUI to freeze. As above you need the ones from the QVGA version + my PNGs after resizing.

    Cheers.

    @Jasand:

    You're welcome. Up to you dude but it works fine now. It was just missing the extra files. The zip you originally downloaded only contained the files I had edited. The zip now attached has all files and is confirmed to be working.

    Cheers.

    @caballero600:

    Thanks dude, although you might wanna update it to 1.1 - I think it's nicer ;) up to you though.

    @afreeb:

    Yeah that was the background I had on at the time of release, so it was the one packaged in. Different to the screenshots though :P.

    Thanks for the kind words guys.

    Dickenz, Caballero - I salute you!

    QVGA version is now sitting prettily on my brought-out-of-retirement Hermes. Looks silky and, importantly, is stable.

    Love the reworked graphics on the icons.

    Respect.

    @cyberKurt - its the homeclock app available in the applet store or on the forum thread of the same name - highly recommended - works like a charm and very clear!
