Hi all, ;)
Here is my first theme.
The taskbar is Black Glass like, selection of main buttons are red and the status bar signal/Battery are colored.
And a nice Sea Wallpaper ...

:)
Love the theme.
Could you point me in the right direction on how you changed the status bar signal/Battery to colour?
Thank you
@ Strop,
hello guy,
Download the Tinted theme on PointUi.com.
You have to edit "Soft.Key.Status.Bars.Left.png", "Soft.Key.Status.Bars.Right.png", "Soft.Key.Status.Icon.Battery.png", "Soft.Key.Status.Icon.Signal.png", change the color like you want and use PngToJif to convert the files.
Hope this helped you. ...
how can i convert the files to jif i used it ut i think the problem is with me i dont know how to use it help please
Download PngToJif from the documentation, copy the .exe into the folder with the .png files. Go to Start >> Run, type in cmd. Navigate to the folder with your png files. This is done by typing cd folder\folder\folder, replace folder with the name of the folders of course. If you mess up, just type cd\ and start over. Once you're in the folder, type PngToJif.exe *.png -a. The * will run the program on all .png files, replace it with the name of one to just do that one png. -a preserves the transparency, which you'll want to do for battery icons.
Hope it helps and isn't too confusing the way I wrote it.
I find copying PngToJif.exe to the windows folder a bit easier because then you can run it from anywhere.
@ bassem
Hi guy,
The easy way if you want to use PngToJif.exe (XP or Vista) is to put it in C:\Windows\System32 (System path)
And now I give you an example :
- Create a folder in C:\ named PointUI_Theme
- Put you PNG files in it
- Use cmd.exe and browse the folder PointUI_Theme whith this command : cd C:\PointUI_Theme
- use the command line : PngToJif -a *.png to convert your files
- Copy all .jif files created to your Theme folder
That's it.
;)
Anyone else not get this theme to work? I loaded this up but only top half showed without any lower buttons. Had to remove by modifying the db file in Home2 folder.
Any help?
@ gianmarco
Sorry bro, this is only a VGA theme, I forgot to specify in the title of this post.
I have a VGA phone. HTC Diamond
Fabliv,
What editor should I use to change the .png files.
I have tried a couple of different editors, but when I load the file I can not see an image, it appears to be blank.
Thank you

Still no help on why it doesn't work on my VGA HTC Touch Diamond?
I too had an issue with this theme on my X1, my bottom soft keys were missing, as was the app bar (contacts, applications, recent calls etc) - gave up and installed a different theme in the end (after having to modify the db.xml file...
THis to me is one of the best themes- but I need QVGA... good work

I wanted to work back on this theme but I have been waiting for the PRO version so I don't waste anytime on creating some usless files but PointUI team is not agreed in this little subject.
