    Alienworkshop has asked and offered me to work on the Amana Theme while he is busy with the actual applet. He has shared all of his work with me and I have used them with my files to complete this set.

    03-28-2009 - Initial Work began

    03-31-2009 - New icon for the contact and adding list
    04-06-2009 - Top bar has been added to rest of panels and numbering icon has been changed.
    04-xx-2009 - First White version was released on the Post 2
    05-11-2009 - New Amana is released!(Post 1)
    05-12-2009 - New Fixes

    NOTES
    1- This Version won't have any battery or signal status on the bottom bar till I figure a useful design for it. (make a suggestion) Figured it out with Alien's help.

    well nimche i guess we wont be needing the batt bar lol cause looks like alienworkshop is working on the applet i bet theres a batt indicator just like Sona.VS. this is good work.. i cant wait

    hey nimche, nice that youre giving your input as well on this project!

    for the battery and connection indicators... woouldnt it be nice to project them on the slider buttons if they are closed?... if we have more than one slider that is.. furthermore.. mmh

    dunno lol

    maybe those little wing tips at each side of the bottom bar.. would be nice to have them in the same color as the middle piece of the bar.. black that is ;)

    It won't be possible to put them on the side, becasue as theme moves to landscape, they will be misplaced.

    I don't really use the bars as most of the applets will have somthing like it....

    Cool great work !

    But (there is always a but ;) ) :
    - In the qvga version you don't add the background (maybe also in the vga I don't check)
    - and these two thing :

    selected soft key is not align (or it's your choise :) )
    the top right applet selected button

    But (the last one) you have create a theme more clean and in the spirit of AMANA so THANK YOU !!!! :D

    again i will be a pain and ask if a negative version of this theme can be produced for those of us with dark backgrounds so light text on dark background??

    ive had trouble loading images up at the moment but will try again - my ultimate aim would be to have a theme that worked with my reb&balck theme as i love using that but if thats too much of a pain (because of varied background) a simple light text on a dark background (so a complete negative of what you guys have so far) would be fine... i just prefer a dark background...

    i have to say a reb&black version of amana overall would look sooo cool! - should have said - any changes made here to the theme would also need to be reflected in the applet itself in order to work together... so for example as you can see with the red&black background the white clock works but the current black clock in the applet wouldnt/doesnt work....

    I don't mind making this modifications. Right now I am more into working things out with Alien.
    I hope that we can make somthing nice together and people's suggestion.

    I had started the new red and black version before he gave me the files but I will work on them again.
    Make them work..

    afreed I've planned a negative version of the applet but at this stage of the development I prefer wait a little to do that.
    once the applet more advanced I will make a dark version. I don't forget you afreed ;)

    You probably know that I have part of the red version done, but could you please wait little longer till I finish what I want to finish with this and get somewhere with Alien work. He has been working to make this project possible so we will move forward from there on.

    hiya guys just loaded the latest theme and applet and great stuff looking great but for me is unusable until i can get a negative/red&black version of applet and theme as other apps i use doesnt look so good....eg: homeclock/messaging - cant read text on aliens theme with the light background am surprised he hasnt noticed it yet - might need to change message app to black text or just have a negative version

    but all great stuff guys keep it up!!

    hey nimche.. very nicely done! hey one little little thing is bugging me.. its the little icone next to the battery and status meter... .. it has some white pixels around it that shouldnt be there.. it could use some defringe ;)

    aside from that.. pointui is really progressing! keep up the good work!
