Please use the POINTUI Home 2 Free 2.0.28e version.

    AMANA V1 <----> DARK AMANA V1
If someone can post VGA, WVGA, SQVGA screnshots, I haven't these devices.

    Please report graphic bugs.

Post remarks ! This the only way to improve the theme :)

Looking really clean. Only comment is that the message count is IMO rather too obtrusive with the box button.

cant post a screenshot at the moment but all went smoothly on my WVGA device - only problem for me personally is i use the homeclock applet which has white clock digits - therefors need a dark background - which makes using this theme impossible because of the darkness of the buttons at the bottom of the screen.... dont know if its against the whole amana concept but perhaps offering a 'negative' version with lighter icons would allow users with different backgrounds/applets to work with this... am sure people will start going back to main theme once the applets are there to support it in this colour scheme...

A negative theme is possible. I will work on that. Thank you for your remarks ;)

Alien - never gonna please all the people all the time but i think an alternative version for darker backgrounds will only widen the overall appeal and take up of the theme which is the first stage of your concept...

by the way how is the rest of it going given the changes of 2.028?

Apologies Alien - yes I believe people offered the choice of dark icons on a light background AND light icons on a Dark Background will only help to make this of more interest to people

how is the rest of the Amana project going?

OK afreed :) This time I've understood :)
    This is the plan :
    First : create the theme
Second : Create the "Main AMANA applet"
Third : Skin the already created applet (example : weather, messaging , etc...)

All the concept is in my head ... just to code it ! But it's take time...

Alien apologies if im not clear but would it be at all possible to link to another applet from within your own? - if so you could create a desktop UI applet that would allow users to 'add in' their existing applets but accessing them through the one interface... would save you having to skin other apps possibly and would also greatly enhance the functionality

also any support for us WVGA users making use of the passive area at the bottom of the active applet area would be much appreciated as shown here...Passive applet area

alien - have you spoken with joel or monte (devs) to find out if calling another applet from within yours would be possible?

Not for the moment, I prefer read the documentation and posts before asking :)
But I search and search and found nothing....In fact this idea is the same as the "applet ribbon" of home 2 but in an applet...
So can you ask for me I've to go ...thx for your support afreed :)

    **Joel or Monte or Shane**

Any help on alienworkshops plans to launch other applets from within his own amana concept? - i believe the idea would be to have a desktop UI that can call on the other applets when requested and then return home to his main applet UI....

from what i understand would involve a slide out from the side of the screen similar to the applet ribbon of old that would detail the applets of the user and could then be accessed

any assistance greatly appreciated as keen to see this idea develop if possible - or possible other suggestions if this isnt...

    Many thanks!!

alien... can i be a real pain and suggest that the menu/favourites bar at the bottom also become a negative (dark) colour as this again is clashing heavily against a dark background and also the top bar - so basically a total negative of the theme rather than just the icons... which is a great start by the way!

Screens taken from Omnia, WQVGA. Can you please fix the search button?

I think it will be nicer if you could increase a bit the images for Call,Apps.. menu and the fonts under. There is too much spacing on left and right.

awesome theme! the darker theme matches with the sonnar apps IMO=D I'm running the QVGA version on my samsung epix (320 x 320) and there seems to be a white bar running across the right edge. i'm guessing it's the background image(also used the SQVGA image you provided in the background folder). I changed to a different background image, and the white bar is gone, so I'm pretty sure it's your included background images. This is by far my favorite theme. Thanks!

This theme is truly great! I Love it and as mentioned the dark theme does mix really well with the sonnar apps. One thing I am unsure about is that when I am using this theme, my task bar at the top of my phone. I don't really see this as a problem, more as something that I will have to get used to. I have the HTC Touch Pro and I am using the VGA version (pretty sure this correct) and just wanted to know if this was normal. Also, if I press the home button the task bar reappears but then never goes away.

**Just discovered that this is a changeable option and pretty cool.
