@ganzee:
Hmmmm, I'll take a look at that as I never noticed that and all I changed in Calcium was to add swiping back and include busystatus icon in appointments list. Thanks for testing though!

No problem. Hope it all helps ;)
Couple of further glitches with Tungsten: when you change the update interval, the change is not shown on the Tungsten Settings screen until you close and re-open the Tungsten Settings screen. Also, the update interval does not appear to affect anything. I set mine to 2 hours last night but Tungsten is still showing the last updated time as the last time I manually updated the weather.

@ganzee:
Ok, fixed the appt list issue you found... just use this file to fix. I also re-uploaded suite with this fix as well.
btw, the Tungsten update interval is a known bug I'm working on and the auto update feature in Tungsten is due to my laziness as I never fully added it. Both will be fixed in the next release...Posted 4 months ago # -

Here's a minor mod for Carbon for those using Pointui Phone app. I created because adding Pointui Phone to startup did not work for me (prolly my slow TMO Wing) as it would load too early causing it to work partially. Having Home2 start it ensured for me full functionality of the wonderful Pointui Phone app! This just allows you to toggle between activating or deactivating Pointui Phone. Access option by ClickHold of ... button in Carbon applet. Note deactivation is just to ensure a reset will not automatically start Pointui Phone.

I added a maybe similar integration of Phone by using a custom.cs file with my Home2. Click event on phone button launches the Pointui Phone, click and hold launches the call list.

Here's a preview of one the items I'm working on for my next set of additions to this wonderful suite!!!!! It is a meters pulldown screen and something I was playing with during my Sonic MyStatus applet days, but only now with Aliens swipe functions is it feasible. Swiping from the top of the screen down brings it out so you can quickly see how much available memory and storage you have as well as the current levels for speaker/ringer volume and screen brightness and swiping from bottom up closes it. It can be called from any applet and also allows volume and brightness changes via swipes up/down. I am still tweaking the swipes and adding a few more things before I release it...
...but here's a non-swiping(display info only) beta I'd like others to test to see how other devices work with existing code.
Beta Features:
1) Displays available memory and storage graphically only (actual values will be on full release).
2) Displays current Volume and Brightness levels graphically (actual values will be on full release).
3) Should work in landscape mode and on any screen type.
4) Bonus, includes updated screen lock which now works in landscape. Changed lock sequence as a click-hold phone icon then swipe down to bottom of screen lock.Note: This is mods of the ScreenHome.cs so back that file up fist before installing... Additionally, this is only compatible with fullscreen Home2 option in home2 Customize menu and with standard home2 title bars.
Usage:
To display meters...
Click-hold middle of title bar and swipe/pull down 1/3 of the way down.To remove...
Click-hold bottom image swipe/pull up 1/3 of the way up.Posted 4 months ago # -
@Norrin:
Latest preview looks promising.
I forgot to confirm that the appointments fix is working well.
I have also found that your method of activating Pointui Phone is far more reliable than a Startup link. Keep up the good work!

@ganzee:
Thanks ganzee! Glad thses mods are working for you. I'll be releasing a beta for the meters pulldown in a few days for QVGA & VGA screens. This beta version will require use of my ScreenHome.cs file, but the final will be a separate Control other devs and users can apply to their suites/applets.Posted 4 months ago # -
@NorrinRadd and Capt_Harlock:
Thanks for all your work on the suite. I had been using PointSense, but got inpatient with the stalled development; also wasn't sure I liked going exclusively to widgets. Anyway, the adrenaline suite is running FAST, works great in almost all regards. (AT&T Tilt, Stock WM 6.1 ROM, Point Home 2 Pro).A little feedback:
1.Appointment offset in Hydrogen. A previous post noted to edit the .cs file and enter the offset in minutes. The offset is now an option from the applet, but through trial and error I figured out it needs to be entered in hours, not minutes. Maybe you could clarify in the title: "Enter the time offset in hours"?2. There are a lot of options in many places (click on ..., long press on ..., click on applet name, long press, etc). Would it be better to consolidate all customize options on one page (...)? That would be more consistent with the Point Home customize page.
3. Calcium Applet: At the top of the applet, it says "agenda". I think it is more intuitive to click on that to go to the day or week or month view within Outlook (just suggesting).
4.I initially had a problem and could not update any weather. I looked in the registry (HKLU/Software/Home 2/Adrenaline folder; noted the registry value was set to "updating". I changed themes, deleted all the keys in Adrenaline, rebooted, reselected the default theme, and the problem was fixed, weather works great, except does not autoupdate (manual works fine, though).
I hope development continues, this is the best themed suite yet.

I'm sure I speak for capt as well on this to thank you for your kind words and comments. We are still developing the suite, both capt and myself are quite busy and may have long stretches of no updates because we do this during limited our free time. I have fully converted off of PointSense and develop in my free time for this suite only. capt has created a new forum account we both have access to and I will be open a new thread with the latest version most likely after Thanksgiving (1st week of Dec).Thanks for the comments, I will see about adding a consolidated menu as that does make sense. Didn't know if more people are using pieces of this suite or the whole thing to benefit from it... Also, I can apply your other comments as well, but with regards to weather autoupdate works for me, but only if an active data connection already exists.
Lastly, I will post a beta of my meters feature today, but it will only display info and not allow you to change levels yet. Swipes are working, but as devices have different value ranges of volume and brightness I'd like to see what they are and how this beta works on most devices first so I can account for differences either in code or in custom config menus.

@Norrin:
Been meaning to ask you this for a while:
How do you define the GTD (Getting Things Done) Groups in Tantalum? The colour-coding appears to be based on the priority setting of the task.
Am I missing something?

@NorrinRadd:
I must have caught you while coding- Look forward to the next release. I appreciate that we all have day jobs, so I understand the time between releases.BTW - my son is Sun Devil...

@doctorj:
Thanks for understanding and I was a Sun Devil many, many years ago as well...@ganzee:
Yes GTD stands for "Getting Things Done" process by David Allen, which I use. This link is how I used to use it before writing my Productivity PointSense widget and now Tantalum in Adrenaline...http://www.jeffkirvin.net/2008/10/fast-gtd-in-windows-mobile/
Basically, It's priorotized by Red-High Priority as all Next Actions regardsless of project Light Gray-Normal as Projects, and Blue-Low Priority or Someday Maybe items not on a project yet, but you might want do at a undefined later date. Hope this explanation helps...

Adrenaline Meters - Cant Seem to get this to work. using a HTC tilt Tytn II Put the ScreenHome.cs in Common folder and I guess the to Jif files in the theme folder? Maybe I dont have the correct version of the suite?
@Capt_Harlock - Did you get my coffee?
Thanks for the good work!

@Mikerla:
Sorry forgot to post where to post files...ScreenHome.cs --> /Home2/Common
jif files --> /Home2/Themes/Default/AdrenalineHope this helps...

@Norrin:
Meters beta working fine, thanks. Are you planning any further graphic updates? Seems a bit sparse in my opinion.
Re the Screen Lock: I cannot get this to work in Landscape. The Swipe Up To Unlock Screen does appear with the Click-Hold method, but it immediately unlocks itself. (Still works fine in Portrait.)
There is also considerable lag when changing from Portrait to Landscape (and vice versa). It is taking 5 seconds to redraw the screens :(
(TyTN II, QVGA)
[EDIT] Meters are currently not showing anything for
Memory orScreen :SPosted 3 months ago # -
@Norrin
Got it working - going to be a very cool feature Thanks
Posted 3 months ago # -
@ganzee:
I'm not planning on adding any graphics as these are not graphics but built-in Home2 gradient fills. I'm trying to ensure the least amount of memory and resources are used and avoiding use of jifs as much as possible in all Adrenaline related mods/updates I do, but I am planning on adding mofilere meters like Wifi, batter, radio, etc.Yup, enabling screenlock in landscape is iffy for me as well, hoping to fix it before the next release next week sometime...
The lag is a result of adding meters code to Screenhome.cs which doubled the size. The next release should improve the redraw as I am taking meters and screenlock out as separate classes/files that screenhome can just reference as includes...
As far as meters not showing for you, can you post screenshots and also post pics of your wm backlight and volume screens so I can get an idea of how many increments your device has vs. mine. If everyone does this I can get a better idea and code in a custom menu to adjust for each device. I am also including in final release menu option to choose your memory starting footprint.
@Mikerla:
Glad it's working for you now... hoping to release this and overall Suite update next week...Posted 3 months ago # -
Thanks Norrin.
I am on the move at the moment but will post screens later.
The Memory meter does not show immediately. It appears to take a few minutes for it to pull any data but when it does, it shows a full bar (100%). This would be nice, but I know I've got less than 50% in reality.
The Screen meter only works if I change the brightness to a much lower level (I have 10 increments) such as 3. I can then increase the level all the way back up to 10 and the meter continues to work.
Hope this helps. Screens to follow.

Different subject:
The swipes in Calcium no longer appear to be working. Swipe down takes me to October 2009; swipe up does not do anything. I can get back to current month with the > button but cannot look forward to next month and beyond. I am using your latest version (5th Nov QVGA).
