    Anyone else have issues with both the weather applet and the home applet with regard to the weather data? It's 91 degrees where I am and my forecast for both says it's around 75 degrees. Data issue?

    I have same issue like - akis

    I have a ATT FUZE,
    I downloaded the PointUI (2.0.03b.cab) & then installed...
    PointSenseSuite.VGA.1.0.0.CAB
    PointSense.HomeScreen.VGA.1.0.0.CAB

    but when I choose the PointSense theme... nothing changed,
    it's always the default theme.

    PLEASE HELP :(

    -. When S2P is not loaded, you can load it by pressing on the cdbox
    -. When S2P is loaded and you're playing a song you can go to S2P by clicking on the coverart or cdbox

    Hi Guy's i've made an new version of PointSenseMusic, it tought to make it more like Hero Sense. So here you go, it's bigger and with a cdbox now as border for the albumart.

    This is based on UIMusic Beta 3 from Reaper!

    Needed:
    S2P (Slide 2 Play) - installed and in backgound, playing or paused.

    Just install like any other app..

    Yes I did like you said:-

    Install point ui....Go into settings and set it as a today item..go back to home screen...let it load. Accept the terms

    Just what you said below, did not happen, did not have to hit cancel :--
    "and then when it asks to make it pro cancel....."

    In the topbar of your new version please add the button start... maybe by clicking the operator logo or something else...

    @afreeb that very well could be an issue. If it never connects then it can not finish install the common files.

    @All:

    EVERYONE --- PLEASE READ THIS. THIS THREAD HAS EXPLODED AND WILL CONTINUE TO GROW!!!

    blueocean has done all of this on his own. That means he will be supporting his creations almost entirely on his own.

    We as a community need to make it as easy as possible for him to assist us.

    You can do this by stating what device you're using (Diamond, Touch Pro etc), what resolution your device uses (QVGA, WQVGA, VGA, WVGA), what PointUI version you're using (2.1.0.6, 2.1.0.4 etc).

    I cannot imagine how one man (as much of a machine he has proven to be) can deal with the onslaught of questions and investigate each and everyone's individual errors. The least we can do is give him a little extra info so he knows where to look and the users will know if it is questions that have already been covered.

    For those that keep asking... Blueocean has only released version 1.0.0.0 - The topic states 1.0.0.1 but so far we've only had the intial release. There have been NO updates as of yet (29th July).

    And lastly A LOT of issues everyone is having can be solved by updating to the latest release of PointUI - Lite 2.1.0.6. Yes this suite does work with Lite and Pro It was designed for 2.1.0.6 - Each new version of PointUI brings new engine developments. If something in blueocean's PointSense suite uses any of these new APIs then that particular function will NOT work with an older version. I strongly suggest updating PointUI to the latest before reporting any problems with PointSense. As above A LOT of the problems you're having can be solved by doing so.

    I recommend this procedure:

    - Remove PointUI from Start > Settings > System > Remove Programs
    - Delete \Program Files\Home2\ if there is anything still there.
    - Download and install PointUI 2.1.0.6 from http://www.pointui.com/products/home-2/
    - Enable PointUI from Start > Settings > Today > Items > Tick PointUI Home2
    - Close the Settings window.
    - Disable PointUI from Start > Settings > Today > Items > Untick PointUI Home2
    - Download and install PointSenseSuite (QVGA or VGA) from the first post.
    - Download and install PointSense.Homescreen (QVGA or VGA) from the first post.
    - Re-enable PointUI from Start > Settings > Today > Items > Tick PointUI Home2
    - Once PointUI has started go to Menu > Customize > Change theme - Apply PointSense theme.
    - Go to applets window, remove all current applets you don't want and add PointSense applets.

    Once again, let's give blueocean as much info as possible so he can pinpoint a solution easily and that in turn will allow us the answers we want in a timely manner.

    I will make the controlls bigger in an new version, which will only supports Nitrogen, because of its great functionality, now I can maybe make an full touch indicator for skipping forward and backward, also Nitrogen knows an Hero Sense skin so this will be much nicer

    I don't have an QVGA device, just started programming 2 days so don't know the tricks yet.. I will try to find out how to make it better for QVGA

    @incubus26jc: No there is no way to remove the purchase now screen. In 2.1.0.6, PointUI consolidated Free and Pro into one package.

    Free was abolished as we know it and replaced with Lite. Lite lacks the Pro versions extra features and once a day will remind you to purchase it.

    @dickenz - Well done - simple, intuitive and valuable. I can't get over the "growth" either. This is a great suite and very customisable.

    vga screen. I can't find how to get to the menu in this theme..

    On PointSenseMusic the album art is off the CD borders, it is up and left. I have installed both PointSenseSuite.VGA.1.0.0.CAB & PointSense.HomeScreen.VGA.1.0.0.CAB. In the picture it looks like you don't have PointSense.HomeScreen installed. Can you checkit out. Thanks.

    Reply to post 418. To get the menu you have to press and hold the lower left soft key which brings the navigation panel.

    We need separate threads..ie.

    PointSense Skins
    PointSense Applets/mods
    PointSense Ideas

    or something similar...as some of these wonderful skins, plans, idea's, applet mods are just getting lost in this ever expanding post...
