  3. So what do you want? Did you DL the tinted theme on the forum?

  4. The instructions in the tinted theme didn't quite explain it so here it is as far as i have been able to understand (my first theme is coming.. slowly)

    1. Download the following:
    > GIMP (Graphics Editor - PSP or photo shop will not cut it)
    > PNG to JIF from the forums here
    > Tinted theme from the forums here
    2. Edit the pictures in the tinted theme to look like you want (beware there are lots of them)
    3. Run PNG to JIF and copy the resulting files + Background.gif to your phone for testing.
    4. Share.

If you aren't that good with graphics google "free icons" but don't breach copywrite...

    I agree,
I started making graphics for a pipboy theme as well, but when it came time to size them, figure out positioning etc... I couldn't really find any instructions at all. Everything came out scrambled so I just gave up on it.

I read through almost all topics and all posts in the theming sections and still couldn't find any clear cut instructions. Frustrating...

  6. Good thinking and great idea.
What if you put an instrcution together for other friends to use?

After all this is a community that we all contribute.

    Cheers

  9. I'm starting with my first theme,

is there any other theme in png (or psd) files in addition to the "tinted" theme?
It seems a little bit old, I think there aren't all the files for the actual home version.

  12. create a folder and call it for instance "test"
put your VGA size png inside the "test" folder
now open the converter and when its loaded, drag and drop the "test" folder into the program.

Click resize button and after its done doing the work it will create some new folders into "test" folder

"50" which is %50 reduced size PNG + JIF files
"Original" which is your original files + associated JIF files.

    I hope this helps.

Ask any more questions that you may have..

DL the SW again and put it there again.

    Do all the steps again.

    Again and again. JK
