im testin it at the moment, i installed some applets , everything seems work fine, nice smooth scrolling between applts, fast browsing, but the theme was a way better on the last 2.0x rlses :) i love to get more colour on my display then blue :) but the bottom grafix (the pointui logo and on his left and right) this is very cool.. i just changed the wallpaper now to the old and it looks very pretty..

by the way im using the home edition (not pro)

can somebody give me a list on what diffrences are between home and pro ?

thanks alot, and i wanna see some more applets , would be very cool !
ill work tonight on some great theme :)

doesn't work on my xperia anymore! the following error is displayed...can anyone help me?

Remove My status. It is not set up for the new build. There are people working on it.

Doesn't work on my omnia, when it launch (2.1 and 2.1.02 and 2.1.04), i can't validate the first use, button are hidden at the bottom.

No problems here. It feels even a bit smoother with the shorter delay for the OnClickHold action and no jumpy buttons when coming back from a app to full screen Home.

Fantastic work - thanks PointUI team for fixing things so quickly. 2.1.04 is far more responsive.

I have notice that since the first release of home2:
When i'm at call history i press contacts and then again call history (from right button)
Every time i do this loop (history ->contacts) the animation is slower and slower and slower.....

Of course this is not something important but i post it incase you want to fix it..

Everything else work fine for me (htc touch hd vga, free version).

again me,
something i want to know, i get often crash / stun of my phone, when iam running pointui
im using x1, and additional software like S2U.. maybe S2U and Pointui are not compatible with each other ?

haven't seen any problem so far after install free 2.1.04 in my O2 XDA Flame. only in messaging applet, the next button is not a line with plus button and 3 dot button. I don't know if its my Flame or the apllet. I'll try check in qvga.

I an running WM6.5 Makeverals latest rom ver K on my HTC diamond.

I have tested two versions of the same ROM with the free 2.1.04 Pointui
one with 10MB page pool and this one with 16mb pagepool.

I can say that the 16MB pagepool version runs so fast and smooth appart from a few Applet errors from uncompatible applets this latest version is very good. seems so much more stable that the old Pointui software

After 2.1.0, 2.1.02, the 2.1.04 (the last ? :)) works on LG KS20.
To be honest, can't see the difference with de previous one :p

Just wondering the 2.1.05... before the 2.1.06B-07/alpha007 !!!
Ok ! ok ! Joking :p

successfully uninstalled xxx2 and installed xxx4 on samsung omnia i910 OEM ROM. did not observe performance lag or latency. observed ONCE, icon/text horizontally overlapped [view=My Application/All Apps]. hit Back then returned to All Apps, and observed icon/text were normal. repeated several times and unable to duplicate issue. observed in past and current rev, samsung 'xt9' keyboard icon sometimes overlaps pointui icon.

Installed 2.1.04, which seems to have fixed a lot of issues with the GSM Treo Pro. Would love to see the exceptions issues fixed with Calendar, Mystatus (any of them), & a full weather applet.

After playing with .04, I liked it well enough to buy the Pro version. Which is when I found one glitch that I hadn't noticed before. Once the screen saver comes on, it takes forever to wake up the phone. And where it wakes up (which screen) is anyone's guess, probably because it takes so long that I've tried multiple keys. Sometimes, it wakes up & acts like it should. Other times it's as if the D-pad is disabled & I can't unlock the screen. The only locking option I could find in Pointui is turned off, so I wouldn't think that was causing a conflict.

One applet I'd like to see available is a generic music player ala TF2/3D.

Anyway, version 2 is almost perfect, will be once the screensaver conflict is fixed & the applet exceptions are addressed.

I have to say, 2.1.04 runs about twice as well on my LG Incite than previous versions. It appears much faster, takes up less memory, and is overall more enjoyable. It is sad to see most of my applets I was using before don't work now, but I'm sure they will soon. Also, Show Sim Contacts doesn't work for the LG Incite. It never has, but it's not a huge deal..

I'm with bval -- I don't know what you guys changed, but 2.1.04 Pro is lightning fast on my QVGA Tilt (Kaiser/TyTn II) compared to the prior versions. 2.1.00 and 2.1.02 were disappointingly slow and laggy compared to 2.0.32, but whatever you did in 2.1.04 has made it much, much faster. It slides between applets instantly, and the time it takes to cover the Start bar in full-screen mode is 1/10th of what it used to be. Your changelog doesn't list anything that sounds performance-related, but whatever you did, it's fantastic! =)

My only gripe with 2.1 now is that ugly square bracket selector replacing the default theme highlight. Would love a way to turn that off, so that the theme highlights are used like they were in 2.0.32...

Overall though, great work on 2.1.04! Makes up for the 2.1.00 release ;)

working now;
- recent calls list which disappeared a couple of versions ago.
problems;
- Three attempts at download before upgrade file completely loaded. Stalled at 2/3rds download twice. Used Opera browser 'continue download' function to complete.
- missing my favorite functional applets
- missing my preferred QVGA theme on VGA device view (see link)
Yet to test power drain.
Roll Back here I come again!

the current version: icon image blocks the upper part of fonts, like in the favorite contact screen.

v2.0.32 has no such issue.

is it because both font size and image size are enlarged in the current version?

by the way, the square bracket style of selection reminds me of some old symbian ui, and is not as good as highlighting style.

2.1.04 working on Samsung i780

but "MyStatus" and "DeviceManager" applets cannot be added at all, the folder is still visible in \home2\appletribbon\

how to solve this?

2ndly, "task" applets is taking the full screen while other like "today" and "world" are all aligned to the left which is smaller in size, any idea?

tested on the 2nd day, pointui completely crashed... have to uninstalled... then when i installed back v2.0, also crashed...

previously before upgraded to v2.1, i have run v2.0 for 2 weeks without problem...

2.1.0.4 working.
Environment - Omnia DXID1 6.5(beta) build 21812 w/ 12MB Page Pool
Memory Consumption - about 7.1-ish MB (ran for a day or so from last reset, with about 50+ dlls loaded)

2.1.0.4 is working faster than the previous .2 build. In full screen the WM taskbar doesn't shows up, thus like "jumping a bit" Yes you corrected it!

I noticed on the "applets window", when selecting an applet tapping it twice, the applet will apear twice on the today..

btw why max of 6 applets why not 9?
Continue to test though..

If you purchase the Pro version, you'd be able to add 9 applets. Yupe, notice that bug as well. Initially, I thought it was intentionally done this way to allow 2 instances of the same applet (i.e. 2 slideshow applets to reference to 2 different folders and/or 2 different viewers).

However, scrolling through the screen, it appears that there is only 1 instance of the same applet even if the applet selection menu shows two icons of the same applet. (a more evident point is that, any applets which are already added, do not appear in the list when trying to add more applets)

The new 2.1.0.4 Pro is fast and stable on my phone (HTC Herm300 WM6.0) and with few modifications my applet are running fine.

But there is still one problem: i have IMAP configured on my phone and i delete some messages in Messaging. When my phone syncs with the IMAP-server the deleted messages are there again.

Running smoother now on Eten X800. Still have the issue with Today applet not allowing you into the city select screen unless you go to a different app first.
