I have got as far as this. If there is a serious interest in anyone picking up the baton I can supply the files. My coding isn't very good. Only in WVGA. The clock is courtesy of alienworkshop.

Note: This is based on PointSense 2.0.0.4 version

The complete Home 2 Folder can be downloaded from here..

  2. Thanks getting this off the ground! Of course, I would like a SQVGA 320x320 version.

Hm, I am wondering about one thing: how do you know, how a "Windows Mobile 7 Theme" should look like, how it should behave, react to inputs, etc..? Did I miss something? The presentation in Barcelona seems to be only available source of information...

Must admit it does look good. At the moment it is a fully functional homescreen with a choice of programs with icons that can be arranged. I have placed a clock and the weather but cannot add a date or appointments as my coding isn't good enough. The softbars all work. The platform is PointSense so it has all of the other normal widget pages.

  9. It's more than excellent - it's AMAZING and especially so fast after Barcelona!

I wish we could program new themes so that they could be installed like, dare I say it ... Infinity ... so that all resolutions were accommodated.

I am one still using QVGA, so I hope this project moves quickly and that resolutions for all can be produced.

Would it be possible for you to post what you have. If you did maybe someone could help you or give you some coding tips. Also other users could give it a test run. The truth be told I really want to try it.:)

  17. Ha,
As you get expert in coding you may start to code from scrach then you will have more control over your inventions.

    Thank you for effort.

    @looby:
Very nice! You have inspired me, though... as I have a plain and slow QVGA device, I will try and add WP7 style theme/Home-Start Applet to the Adrenaline Suite optimized for older devices like my Tmo Wing. Hopefully, I can get it to look as nice as yours with the least amount of graphics...

Here you go. I have a complete working Home 2 Folder but it will not let me upload it as too large. This is based on Pointsense 2.0.0.4 and there may be issues on other versions. The Device I have tested this on is a Diamond2 with standard 6.5 ROM.

  21. Cool, will give it a shot.
Looby, start your own complete stuff then you can resolve so many problems.

    Good Luck

The complete Home 2 Folder can be downloaded from here....included in first post.
One issue is the City of the clock overlaps the Icon below. I cannot select the clock without selecting a City, maybe someone can sort it. Anyway, have fun..looby.

I was wondering if there will be a QVGA version too? i am interested in trying this UI skin out, but i do not have a HVGA device.

It looks great from the mock ups. Any word about the functionality and use of this? Does it run smooth, etc?

    Posted 2 years ago #
  24. @looby ... For a QVGA version - I am happy to resize the original pngs, but I assume there is a "lot" of re-coding to do for the CS files to accommodate QVGA?

And this looks amazing, Is someone goinbg to make qvga?

    Posted 2 years ago #
  28. Maybe for us QVGA and SQVGA users, vertically scrolling in the "black" area on right of screen will expose or hide the tiles as they scroll vertically up and down while keeping the right arrow in the circle stationary at the top right of the screen.
