Yeah.. Same here, screen estate should be used better.. Doesn't fill the screen and contacts hangs..

@chanur: Why is it not supported? Omnia is a WQVGA device?

I also have the same problem with the screen not being the correct size on my WQVGA Omnia, I do have the i910 the verizon edition, does this make a difference? Other then that, the free version is sweet and I can't wait for the pro version to come out.

Of those devices, which are WQVGA? The devs shouldn't advertise QVGA/WQVGA on the download if they aren't supporting both.

  9. Can anyone provide a screenshot of what "don't fit all the screen" means please?

When it is in landscape mode I don't see any of the back home screen, but when it is in portrait mine is like the picture above.

Same problem here in the Omnia.

If you can fix this small problem, then you have a GREAT software and I will go PRO!

I agree if you can get this to work for me, I will definitely purchase the pro version when it is available.

  16. Can you please try this exe - unzip it and copy the exe over the top of the one on your device in the \Program Files\Home2 directory. Let me know if it fixes the problem - hopefully it will.

Is this exe only for the Omnia?

    Posted 1 year ago #
  21. No, it includes a fix for the omnia and also support for hardware soft key buttons. It will work on other devices too.

    Hi all,
I use a China Mobile I908E and with the patch installed, there is still a thin line between the Home screen and the WM menu bar. Moreover, the soft key contact button still hang the phone.

I know this is marked as resolved, but I am still getting a little bit of bleed through at the top. Don't get me wrong, its 100 times better than it was, but I would just hate for this to go un-noticed into final release.

There is a slight discolored line just below the start menu and at the top of PointUI. Once this is fixed, I think I will be in love with this app.

  28. We are fixing it one pixel at a time :)
There must have been two problems with the Omnia - the big gap problem and the 1 pixel problem that was fixed here:

    http://community.pointui.com/topic/contact-scrolling#post-545

Please try that - it should fix the last pixel.

    Hi,
First I have to say this is one of the best UI I've ever used. It is very fast and I can't wait until the Pro is released? I was wondering how much are you going to charge for the Home 2 Pro?

I have an Omnia as well. I notice that the google news constantly connects to the internet, is there anyway to turn it off so it doesn't drain out the battery? And also when I am in landscape mode the alignment is kinda off a bit, not sure if anyone else is having the same problem. Here is a snapshot of my todayscreen. If you can fix this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks you for making a Great UI.
