Pointui » Home 2 Themes Support

   hey guys ive just reccently stumbled across the pointui and i love it... but my only prob is that ive been downloading the themese and stuff but none of it seems to be comming out right... by this i mean buttons are really small and the wallpaper seems to be offcentre to the left handside and dosnt fit the screen... im a big newbie but if someone could point me in the right direction to rectify this or release themes that fit the htc touch hd res's this would be mucho apriciated....

   thanks again and well done to all u guys who have worked on point ui and all the themes... who needs a crappy i phone!!!!! hahaha

   Sounds to me like you've downloaded the Qvga rather than VGA/WVGA versions. Please confirm?

   nope i made sure that i got the vga/wvga versions of everything i use ....

   okay can try to turn off auto size or turn them on. see if there is any results & what theme are you using can i know?

   hey with the autosize usualy it just ends up with a black background but if i go into the folder of the theme and set the background to the image of what its supposed to be its very pixelated... themes i have been trying to use are..

   also do any of u guys know why the buttons are so small when i use it with my touch hd??

   As above because you're downloading QVGA themes. The Mnmlui theme is QVGA.

   This is the only reason you will have smaller than normal images or a cropped background.

   Ensure you're using VGA versions.

   Backgrounds that are the right size and are pixelated will be so because they are not formatted properly. Need to make sure the image is 'flattened' for web use before using in PointUI.

   Horribly stretched pixelation will occur when you Autosize a QVGA background to WVGA resolution. As above. You're using the QVGA themes instead of the VGA.

   okay for my blackberry theme, i noticed that some vga devices have the problem with background 2 have reported including uu but the rest of theme were okay. maybe try using a personal background at the moment & as what dickenz says the Mnmlui is only for QVGA Devices

   ahhh i c... well hopfully u guys can sort out some stuff for the htc touch hd in future... coz i really like the themes u done... keep up the good work anyways :D

    haha yea ive got my eye on that one already... looks awsome... any chance u can do a similar thing but using bape stuff (a bathing ape) :D

    lol i would make a theme for u if u can supply me some images ^^. btw sorry about the blueberry theme problem u facing so far u & one of the guys in this community has this problem... but nvrmind ill fix this problem with bigger resolution background img
