Hi anybody know how to have the weather report in fahrenheit instead of Celcius? I'm in USA so I like it in F.

    TIA.

Yes, I just did it. on your phone go to \Program Files\Home2\AppletRibbon and copy the Cities.xml file to your computer. Open the file with Notepad scroll down until you see the entry for the city you want (i did New York) then find the following line just change the 1 in "metric=1 to "0" then save and copy file back to your phone.

    url>http://rss.accuweather.com/rss/liveweather_rss.asp?metric=1&locCode=10001

i hate to revive an old post but i'm having a similar problem.

on the default Today screen, this change works fine. however, in the various Weather apps (5 day forecast and the Sonnar app are the ones i've tried) this doesn't work.

i have the following URL in my cities.xml:

    http://rss.accuweather.com/rss/liveweather_rss.asp?metric=0&locCode=19092

and yet, the temperature is still in metric.

this isn't a huge show-stopper of an issue. if anything i'm getting more aquainted with metric temperature which i probably should be anyway since the rest of the world uses it. i'm still more comfortable with farenheit ;)

    madgeek,
On the latest version of the 5 day forcast applet (2.2), when you find a new city, it asks you if you prefer metric or standard. If you are using an existing city, I would find that city again and not use the existing listing.

Thanks JSpeed! I'll give that a try now.
