   Hey all... This is my first attempt to actually make a skin for anything that is related to Windows Mobile. I kinda merged the essence of Windows Vista with a calm look creating a very Elegant theme.

   As mentioned this is still a beta... and updates will come in further releases.

   Ummm... oh yea... this is kind of a customizable theme, in its own... I have attached Six Different Color Orb files with the following colors

   Blue
   Purple
   Pink
   Green
   Yellow
   Reddish Orange

   They are all jif files... so you dont have to worry about converting and all... By default I have set Blue as normal and purple when pressed as you can see in the screenshot... but with the six orbs that I have attached you can make it any color you want default and any color you want pressed...Possibilities are boundless!!!!

   Just rename those orb files with the name for theme files... I believe, default is Soft.Keys.Quick.Launch and selected is Soft.Keys.Quick.Launch.Selected and copy/paste them in your theme folder... and you are good to go... :)

   README included with information about replacing the Orbs in the Orbs Zip file.

   NOTE: GUYS if you are UPDATING with the old Elegance theme please switch back to the Default theme or any other theme and then copy/paste the updated/new version in the themes folder and then just re-apply it.

    Mardy88, is there some way i can make the 'inbox count' for my mail and text show up in this theme. it seems as though the phone shows when i have a missed call, but the message icon on the main screen does not display the unread messages. Is anyone else having this issue or just me? Btw, awesome job, this is by far my favorite theme, even with the fact I can't see the message counts.

    Hey jojojojojojo,

    I have a flashed to a custom rom on my Sprint Touch Pro made by Juggalo over at ppcgeeks. And he had put these Icons that you see on the taskbar in that ROM... for now you can go to this link here and customize your task bar to meet your needs...a lot of themes and icons up there.

    I don't know why that is happening... cuz I am using the exact same files that I have put up here on my touch pro... and I am seeing the counts... I have attached a screenshot of the count here... anyways just download a updated zip. I updated some minor things in there... Enjoy!!!

    I am attempting a restart of my phone (omnia i910) i have qvga (actually wqvga), so maybe that is the issue, not sure.

    I ended up re-downloading the qvga version, and since there were some files missing due to the fact that 2.0.16 has a couple of other ones, i added those, and everything works now, weird. Great theme!

    Yeah, if you download the newest version of PointUI, the QVGA version, there are several different .jif files.

    I tried to run many themes but all I get is blank screen ... what coul dbe the problem/
    no background pictures or icons .. just time and appointment!! I hv DOPOD c800 phone and got pointui 2 18B (latest version) I am also downloding QVGA ..pls. help me!

    Hey nkthaker,

    What version of Point UI are you running? is it the the VGA or the QVGA. Make sure its QVGA.

    Now regarding the themes. The problem I guess is that you uninstalled a theme and then tried to switch over to another theme, that is the only thing that I know can cause it.

    Easiest way to fix this is.

    1) Make sure you have QVGA version on Point UI2 Installed.
    2) If that is right then open the Home2 Folder on your device where Home2 is installed.
    3) Edit db.xml in the folder. Open db.xml and change the theme name to "Elegance 1" if you want Elegance to show up or any theme that you want. It is better to name the theme exactly as the theme folder is named.

    Example: in Home2/Themes/ you can have the following folders

    Home2/Themes/Default
    Home2/Themes/Elegance 1
    Home2/Themes/Virtuo
    Home2/Themes/Vir2uo
    Home2/Themes/Vizta 1.0

    See how the folders are named for the themes... try putting the exact same name being case sensitive in db.xml. So if I want Vir2uo I will put Vir2uo in db.xml.

    And make sure you have the QVGA version of the themes. And once that is done, Start PointUI and you should be good to go. Again remember being case sensitive when putting the name in db.xml just to be on safe side.

    Thanks for your reply.
    I hv Downloaded QVGA version only .. I tried by changing db.xml to "Elegance 1" but this seems not to be working .. program generates new db.xml file... and once I start new theme blank screen with no back ground and only time, date and appelat ribbion appears .. I after that cannot run home 2 again .. i hv toget it uninstalled and reinstall and start again !! what do i do?? Since DOPOD C 800 is Windows 5 mobile , do u think it might not be working because of that .. pls. help since I am novice in this field.

    Hey nkthaker,

    1) Did you try to change the db.xml when Point UI was running? If so then,do this. Soft reset your device. Main goal here is that point UI is not running.

    2) Connect your phone to PC via active sync. Import db.xml on your computer. Open it with notepad or wordpad. Edit the name of the theme.

    3) Put the file back in Home 2 folder replacing the old db.xml with this edited one. Once that is done. Soft reset your device and then start Point UI.

    That should do it. And make sure that Point UI is not running when you make this changes. And you should be good to go. :)

    I have the same issue as nkthaker. I put red as my icon and green as my selected and copied the whole thing over. The bottom part just doesn't show up. I checked the DB, but it has the Elegance theme correct.
