I wanted to do something different than working on my NextGen mod, so I wrote contact/settings/internet favs widget for the PointSense suite. All credits to blueocean for making his great suite. Its for all versions. Install the attached file, restart Pointui and have a go.

@bluecocean: you may always use this in your next release.

use qvga for qvga and wqvga devices

use vga for vga and wvga devices

made it compatible with PointSenseMessageWidget. So install that first, or re-install mine after installing PointSenseMessageWidget

please remove previous contact widget first.

How do I place the widget on the screen ? Press and hold on the screen brings up the list of widgets to select and it does have the contacts widget, but clicking on it does not do anything..

What am I missing here ?

Awesome bug with 2.0.0.1. All my icons were superposed and my weather widget are gone. After a lot of try i had to reinstall Point UI & Point Sense... :(

btw..i find the vga version better on a qvga screen..it's just bigger and easier to push :)

Running the (w)qvga version and I was hoping you could tell me exactly what size the contacts image should be so that I doesn't look pixelated. The one on the left in the picture, looks much better then the one of the right. Any tips or hints on this? Otherwise smashing job!

Hi Cardefbel, I have installed the QVGA version and the contacts folder is in the widget folder. When I press to add a widget nothing happens. I can add any other widget. Hope you can help. Widgets are a little small, would be better 48X48.

edit: didn't read first post that said to restart Pointui. Did a soft reset of phone and now works ok.

So, QVGA version added. Should I make some more?

Maybe a battery widget and signal strength widget would be good.

Tried it but definitely need bigger shortcuts for (W)QVGA. Even the VGA ones look better on my OMNIA.

So I will make a new version where you can choose different types/sizes for this widget. Will add a internet fav widget the same time.

@bibi: Sorry, it was designed for version 2.0.0.4 from blueocean. Thats why it doesn't work with older version. I have to change a common file from blueocean to let the widgets work.

@mikgangal: there is no supported function in pointui to retrieve the default image. The second screen is just a standard (pro) pointui screen

@all: look at my screen for the new to come internet fav widget

QWVGA is too small for my omnia, I try to install VGA version but I unable to add picture to contact.
Have U any solutions ?
