    Notes

      a) 2.0.28e required
      b) For the moment, only for VGA and WVGA devices
      c) For full applet potential, you will have to use these options:
      > Customize: Full Screen: Yes / Home Screen Buttons V Align: Bottom
      > Delete title and search bar from your current theme and also from the default theme. All these files should be deleted (thanks to saved them somewhere before):
      Button.HomeScreen.Search.jif
      Button.HomeScreen.Search.Selected.jif
      HomeScreen.Title.jif
      HomeScreen.Title.Selected.jif

      d) Work in progress, thanks for your feedback. Suggestions are always appreciated.

  8. Work in progress. ;)

After the theme, I'm currently working on the first Wild Wide Home Applet.

I think you'll easily understand the rules ;)

4 modules -I've called them HomLets-
a module navigator which allow you to organize Homlets as you want in your Home screen
Tap and hold on Homlet (and on any button) for settings or other actions
Tap to maximize Homlet with an option to hide minimized Homlet icons and add other informations instead.
      ...

Hum... My code skills are far away... and I'm not as efficient as I used to be and as many of you are ;)
Since there is still a lot -in fact it depends upon you- of work to achieve it, I will publish a very alpha version soon here (probably at the end of this week, with all my crappy code).

All Devs who want to contribute are welcome to complete it as they want.

Homlets resizing mecanisms are operational. Very funny to use, even if there is no animations for the moment.
    Clock Homlet is also operational.
I will provide all graphics ressources in all sizes (analog and digital clocks, full set of weather icons, full set of calendar icons, battery and signal indicators, controls for system).

Of course, any comments are welcome.

    Cheers.

Nice icons (but I never liked Carbonlike background...);-)

It would be also nice to get a template for the tool I madefor customizations ;-)

    Regards ;-)

  10. Icons (for wheather, calendar and system) are just here to illustrate the rules.
And are you telling me that you don't know how to change your background ? :D

    This looks amazing!
And those icons are Tango right?

And please, make a QVGA Version! :)

    Posted 11 months ago #
  16. Will there be any wqvga version?

    Posted 11 months ago #
  17. First version will be only WVGA.
Since all my graphics are in SVG format, it will be easy to do a super clean WQVGA version.

@rayraven: yes, the 3 big sample icons come from Tango project.

damn i really like it mate!!! cant wait for first real beta! just tested it.. lol everything is clickable etc etc ;) however only the clock works yet :P

btw dunno what you intend to do with it in the final release.. but i always like in my todayscreen - battery/signal

and maybe even too: alarms/appointments(which is ofcourse going in it already)/preview sms/email/rss/missedcalls etc -> for this function like it swawps automatically with the homlet you have as master that moment.. or makes the previewhomlet master at the moment you get one of these notifications ;)

maybe an improvement.. .. like a whole homlet for settings.. dunno if that is nessecary :P

    good work chris

  23. And like many - when you eventually find that rare thing "time", I would love to see a QVGA version please :P

Hi Monti, applet looks great, however I have noticed one issue on a WVGA device when using a different theme to yours, the search bar is not cleared away when switching to your applet meaning that when viewing the large clock, the 3 small icons are covered by the search bar.

    Posted 11 months ago #
  25. @strages: I plan to add battery and signal meters, probably in next release;

    @aussie_boi: There will be a QVGA/WQVGA version.

@rwholden: thanks to read my notes in the first post about search bar.

great work monte - love the concept and the use of the wvga space (am an xperia user so much appreciated!!) - cant wait to see this develop... any chance of a dark clock for lighter backgrounds as an option?

also am sure its in development rather than a bug but am noticing only analogue clock is available - digital is in the menu but wont change when selected...

Sorry Monti, I missed that line in the first post. However is there anyway to make the applet make the bars disappear? since when I have an alternate applet running i might actually want these???

Very nice potential. I prefer to unclutter the screen with this view and display the function that is working. Looking forward to testing the rest.
