@joelaloose: Love the applet n the whole SonnarUI and I couldnt wait for a week so I tried to make a qvga skin myself. It might not be as fine but then again its qvga :( hope you dont mind.

To use, just unzip and overwrite files in the applet directory.

Btw my Details screen doesnt show recurring appointments for some reason. Anyone else noticed? Also, the category icons/textcolor arent working for me even though I've edited AppointmentsSettings.xml with my own categories. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi joelaloose, absolutley love this app, great work! Forgive me if I am being ignorant and have missed it somewhere, but was wondering:
    1. If there was any way of viewing tasks as well as appointments, and if not if it would be possible to put it in the next version?
    2. Is it possible to open up thumbcal instead of the default windows calander when an appontment is selected?

    Many Thanks

    Ali

  6. Hi alirankine, thanks for your feedback
1- For the moment only appointments are displayed, I didn't think about tasks, maybe I should addapt the desing for this because I don't want to just put task between appointments, this wasn't the goal.
2- to open thumbcal you either should edit the code :) or wait on a new release which should allow to change the default calendar application ;) (But I need some time to work on this...)

xpres, nice work for the QVGA Version
roufs, I will try to investigate why recuring events are not displayed.

joelaloose, Would you consider merging future appointments under Today if there is space for them that day? Possible instead of "Tomorrow" put "More". Similar to your original appointments app?

  9. After a while witout changes, I update Appointment Applet.
    Some big changes :

    • A lot of new icons
    • Configuration screens to set categories icons and colors
    • Categories are managed in the "categories.xml" file

The first thing you will have to do is to set your own categories in the "categories.xml" file

Refer to first post to get the files.

    Regards

  10. Nice improvements, joelaloose.
Hope you will add an on-board categories manager.

  11. Thanks Montecristoff,

Thanks to the nice job of Joel the on-board categories manager will be integrated in the next version (probably final).
I will also add a configuration menu to allow you to select outlook or thumbcall as calendar application.

  12. Appointment V3.0 Final is now out. You don't need any more to touch XML files

    Hey joelaloose,

I'm wanting to/am heavily in the progress of giving the SONNAR applets a serious make-over graphically. Since there are no PMs here I've had to ask here. And you seem to be one of the only devs left creating the SONNAR applets.

This new SONNAR VISION will include a full PointUI accompanying theme that is Pro ready.

Would you be interested in helping me with some coding and minor adjustments of the current SONNAR applets to bring SONNAR back to life as SONNAR VISION? Just small things like adjusting things to fit into and with the new graphics etc.

Email me at dickenz@gmail.com and I'll show you what I have come up with so far?

    Thanks.

This one seems really fine, unfortunately it does not work on Home v2.1. Do you plan on porting it?
    Thanks

  15. Hi Lledrith,
please find on the first post a fixed version of the applet (version 3.1), this one should work with the last version of pointui Pro.

    Thanks

I really enjoy your applet, but I wonder if there is a possibility for a QVGA version any time soon?

I tried several times but couldn't make it work with 2.1. If somebody can, please update the thread. I suggest not wasting time on this applet.

rename the applet folder to "AppointmentsV3" without qoutes instead of "AppointmentsV3.1". That's a bug missed by the developer!!, It should be included in the first post.
