Concept from the theme SONA.VS of WES89 applied to POINTUI.
It will be a complete suite of applet and theme.
Little preview of what I want create:

What is your feeling about that?

  4. Nice concept here!
Love this style with sobriety, very clean.
Animated ribbons (with unfold/fold up movement) are a very good idea...
To complete this sort of desktop applet, you could add two others open tabs on the left side to access tasks/appointments and messages (SMS/Email) or a quick acces to comm manager main functions.
    Great!

to Montecristoff : ok I will add task/appointements and SMS/email.
For me an UI must be:
    -Clear/clean
    -Intuitive
-Minimum to click to do I want to do

    And for you?

Looks very nice and i love the tabs on the side, but the design is far from intuitive. The icons on the home page make absolutely no sense. just imagine what would happen if someone asked to borrow your phone to make a quick call("is your default language set to martian?") they'd be completely perplexed. the design is sparse and has good shortcuts but don't kid yourself on how intuitive it is.

for the shortcut side pannels, i think most people who see them sticking out will intuitively figure out that you can click on the tabs to do something with them. That makes the arrows on them superfluous. following the same logic if you click on a tab and it expands, then it makes sense that clicking on it again will collapse it. better to put a tiny icon on them that denotes their function. coming up with appropriate symbols for the small space provided should be a nice design challenge for ya.

this looks great. i love the "clean" idea you got with it. it all flows very well, but as mentioned the icons would confuse many lol. awesome concept and hope you get some good work done on this.

Hate to sound like the bad guy but this is just a copy of SonaVS for WAD2 by Wez89 but for PointUI ??

searched it up, and it is exactly a copy, but just for pointui.. no problems with it because it looks great! But there is no originality from the poster or he/she is the same poster as on

dont let this keep you down! i'll love your work if you get it to work as we all see it in our mind atm

To dickenz : you're right this is the same theme and if you read the first post I say : "Concept from the theme SONA.VS of WES89 applied to POINTUI.".
I never say "this is my creation". But I think that is a good theme and if you look at the actual themes there a lots of "copy" : iphone, blackberry, OSX ... the sonnar have some parts of the Sona.VS.
So if a concept is good I don't see why we couldn't use it :)
And to be clear the sona.vs theme is based on the litestep theme AMANA : http://www.4impressions.net/

Hey! Great concept for a UI! good job! but i don't like the icons though, too simple and un-alive.. :) Looking forward for its development though! i Wish new icon designs, like those from "Oranganodised" and "Home2Dock" themes will be created too. The icons from those themes are really cool.. :)
