[Widget] PointSenseMessage V2.1.0.2 VGA/QVGA

    Hello all,

    Here the Messaging applets and widget for PointSense suite.
    Until now this is not optimized for wide screen.

    For the widget:
    This widget only work with the 2.0.0.6 PointSense version of BlueOcean

    -Copy the 2 file under the Common folder to your folder Common
    -Copy the folder Message under this folder : \Home2\PointSense\Widgets\
    -Restart Home 2

    For the applet :
    So to install it, just copy the PointSenseMessage folder into your appletRibbon folder and restart Home2.

    These applet and widget are designed for Home 2 build 2.1.06c

    just tried it on omnia. Seems to work (at least, device didn´t crash ;)) This is only for text messages? Or for e-mail, too?

    Edit: found it (should have looked at the pictures before ...)

    text message and email, to change the account: click and hold the bottom left button and select the account to display

    Okay, thanks for the quick reply. Right now it works in Portrait an Landscape mode. When clicking on the text, the standart windows mobile messaging programm opens (as it should). When closing this programm, somehow the keyboard pops up in home 2 ...

    Swipping works great on my Touch HD. This is an applet that will surely stay on my device.

    Great work :)
    I've run it successfully on my omnia and the swiping works a treat.
    I have a few suggestions for future versions...
    1. Sanity check on the delete button
    2. Variable size (it would b nice to take advantage of the spare space on my screen)
    3. A list view so that I can jump directly to a message rather than have to scroll all the way through

    Do you mean that by taping on the "pencil" to open SMS-Chat"? If yes that would be great.

    Fantastic applet, thanks! Couple of issues to report (QVGA):

    1. Empty inbox produces a dummy message (see 1st screenshot)
    2. Email text sometimes overspills the message box (see 2nd screenshot)

    Finally, I wonder whether the whole applet should shift slightly to the right in order for it to be centered on the screen?

    One more thing ;)

    When I click on the delete button, the PointSense Navigation panel pops up. The message is deleted correctly, though the applet goes back to the message at the top of the inbox.

    Again, this is on QVGA

    EDIT: I think I have found the problem re the Navigation pop up. Changing the setting in PointSense for Auto Notification Popup to No solves the problem. It would seem that the Auto Notification Popup is activated when the count of unread messages changes whether this is increased or decreased. So if you are deleting an 'unread' message from the applet, the popup is activated. This isn't obvious when either using the PointUI Messaging screen or any Messaging application because the PointSenseBar and therefore its notification popup is not active.

    Hope this makes sense!

    1.Ok i'll fix it
    2.This is a home2 bug I've already noticed, in fact when there is carriage return in the text displayed the text could be displayed out of the area text specified in the applet
    So I have no solution :(

    You explanation is good in the blueocean code each time the registry value of unread message change the bottom bar pop up...

    @woem: Yes I work on it!
    In fact on the real HTC hero there 2 widget :
    one for email (the actual applet I build)
    the second for sms (the moforlyf's background)

    So I'll make 2 version with the 2 layout

    If this doesn't have this already, please make your own SMS reply screen. I hate having to use the WinMo application to reply to a message.
