hi, great app but i've been away from pointui for a bit and now ive come back and it doesnt work anymore...new version of pointui free.

the error when adding the calender panel ( wvga ) is:

    point c script engine

    [calendar] parse error
    expected 'class' but found yusing
pointUI; class calendar applet : applet [
    backgro

    this message then repeats itself....

    any ideas?

    im on xperia btw.

I have the same Problem as Deepmenace with the Calender2 Applet on the new PointUI running as Xperia Panel.

Hope it could be fixed as it is a really good Applet!

    Great Work.

    Greetings

I have a strange problem : the Calendar2 Applet is installed on my device (HTC TyTn II, WM 6.1, Home 2.1.06c) but the applet doesn't appear in the "add applet" menu ?!? Home and applet are on the storage card.

Sorry, it's OK : 1 calendar applet at a time and it's OK...

This is a great calendar app! I really like the format, the two week display and quick load time. I have the QVGA version and would like to lengthen the field for the number of characters shown in an appointment. Currently, I'll get '...' with plenty of room left. Thanks in advance for your help and keep up the great work!

Hi Zenkinz, I hope you've gotten some time to relax, I haven't done much of that since my baby was born in January ;). Any hints at some updates for the calendar? :)

Hey Zenkinz, great work, I've got a lot of your apps pointui and non pointui running on my x1.

Unfortunately, I can't get the calender to work, I have the same problem as deepmenace
    i.e. a script error
    [calendar] parse error
    expected 'class' but found yusing
pointUI; class calendar applet : applet [
    backgro

Are there any fixes for this?

Hello! My device is also an X1 and Calendar2 simply doesn't show up after installing.
I can choose it from my applets but it's not displayed.

Great applet. I have only one problem. I am running it in the Pointsense theme. The calendar and the appointments show fine. However the four buttons at the bottom are not there. How do I fix this?

X1 and WVGA people, the issue I realized is that the WVGA version is old and does not work with Point UI v2.1

Instead we should be using the latest VGA version, as this does work with PointUI 2.1 and surprisingly displays in WVGA as well.

  14. hi guys,

I'm back. I know I've delayed the bug fix for too long. I will be having my annual leave in 2 weeks time, so hopefully I can spend sometime to fix the bug. That's if this applet is still of any value to anybody. I see that blueocean has done a great job porting the calendar to his pointsense, and would encourage anybody to look at it if he has not.

If you have the time, maybe you could try to make it a widget for PointSense? I'd love it!

Looks very nice, and the concept is very much needed!
Phone: Touch HD. I took the hint above and installed VGA version. It is running very slowly: dates falling into place and sideswiping to other applets is laggy. Anyone else get that?

Besides that, I have some suggestions:

Animate button push, so you know if program knows you touched it.
Make appointments clickable, so they take you to their complete description.
Option to select time format [24h/12h(am/pm)] next to appointments.

I also have to say, that this is a very nice applet. I use it all the time.
One question: is it possible to start with week view? I have not really found the code in the cs-file.
Thank you zenkinz for this applet!

    Find the solution:
Just add a Cycle() after Layout() in function Load().
    See attached Calender.cs

Heya guys, particualrly ridza. I have stumbled acrosst the fix for the date format exception. if the year part of the short date has 4 numbers eg 2009 rather than 2 numbers eg 09 then pimquery becomes unhappy. Change the short date format to dd/mm/yy or mm/dd/yy. hope this helps guys. BTW in 6.5.x roms the default is dd/mm/yyyy so pimquery crashes until thats fixed to dd/mm/yy.

This applet didn't work for me at all. It simply crashed PointUI all the time. I suggest not spending time on this too much...
