This applet is awesome. However, I haven't started using it mainly because people seem to be on the latest build and have complaints. This is something that should have been in the PointUI release by default as the SMS/Email preview with 3-4 words doesn't cut it for me. And I hate to click on the message to open it in it's native app (Windows Mobile 6.1 native text messaging app) just to read the rest of the message.

Well, I used it now anyways and maybe I am doing something wrong so here it is:

In PointUI, when I click the right side "Messaging icon", it opens the old PointUI messaging where it shows the half preview. And when I click on it, it still opens in WinMo app. But since I installed your applet, it didn't modify this PointUI behaviour, but provided another avenue to it.

However, your applet gives me two problems (Classic):
    1) After I swipe to your applet, I can see the full message within PointUI interface. But when I want to reply, after I enter the message, it asks me which number I want to reply to (Why should I have to do that?).. and then when I click on "accept".. it opens the winmo native sms app so I have to click on send!

    2) If I view the message in your applet, it doesn't mark it as read unless I go to PointUI native messaging and then go into winmo app and that's when it's marked as read.

yeah kinda sucks that you are limited to how many characters to type.

would like to see the full amount allowed as well as a counter such as 20/160 to know how many characters you have already.

was really excited about this but can't use it because 30 characters doesn't work for me

    good job though

I have some problems about using this applet. I copied the unzipped folder into "program files\home2\AppletRobbin" after deleting the old folder named "Massaging", then add the applet. But it didn't work. Should I keep the old folder?

no its 13 files, just downloaded it now.

i do like it, the only problem is limited characters. i think on my omnia i900 its about 40.

    any news on this alien?

    Hi there
TF3D skin is a cool idea but I have some problems with it
first of all this applet can't adapt it's position, I mean no dynamic positioning
second, I have no bottom bar as was displayed in the picture (post #1)
third, whay didn't you include a transparent background for messages
fourth, the "Click to add text message" doesn't work for me
and finally why don't you build a PointScence like skin for this cool applet? it really would be great

    unfortunately many jif files are missed in qvga edition. their names are in message.cs file but they're not in applet folder. here is the list;

    Title.jif
    Icon.Feature.jif
    Button.New.Message.jif
    Button.New.Message.Selected.jif
    Button.Arrow.Right.jif
    Button.Arrow.Right.Selected.jif
    Button.Ellipsis.jif
    Button.Ellipsis.Selected.jif
    Horizontal.Separator.jif
    Message.Background.jif
    Message.Background.Selected.jif

please release a complete version man. don't spoil your great work.

I'm using PointUI version 2.0.32. This is not working in that. When I add it from the applets list, it does not appear, instead I see any other existing applet.
    Help please.

Im using the new PointUI 2 with PointSense2 theme, and I got the applet to work ok, showing my messages with the up/down buttons working, but any attempt to reply/create made it freeze. Any thoughts?
