This is the first release of an applet making use of the Gps class in Pointui Pro.
Features:
- Gives basic GPS information (latitude, longitude, speed, heading, altitude, Satellite Count)
- Gives access to a static Google Map and shows your position (You need an internet connection!)
- Zooming Map
Could someone help me with the graphics?
Update (MapUI_0.2):
- Fullscreen Map
- New map navigation - click a point on map to center
- click and hold a point to mark a target, an arrow will guide you there. Thanks to Qdoggy for this idea!
- click longitude/latitude in mapview to get a roadmap
- This applet contains some tricky calculations, so i release it under creativ commons license!

- position calculation and "marker" is much more exactly now!
Update (MapUI_0.3):

The zip also contains some minor bugfixes...
- added moving direction indicator on map screen
- added compass and target guide to info screen
- added distance to target calculation
- click and hold compass to add(or edit), remove or focus up to 6 targets
(the target you set by click and hold a point on the map is always focused!)
- thanks to aussie_boi for the logo
Update (MapUI_0.4):
- added gpx and loc file parsing to add a target.
- added 'bread crumb' trail
- added graphics from aussie_boi for gps and mapview
- bugfix: should work for wvga devices now, please report. I need help to fix this!
Update (MapUI_0.5):
- "bread crumb" trail improved: waypoints are saved speed dependent
- hopefully now works for wvga
- added "Trackmanager":
features:
- delete tracks
- show track summery, show track in map
- show waypoint summery, show waypoint in map
- export track to kml file
Please remember: - You get Settings by click and hold compass
- Change mapview (roadmap/satellite) by click lon/lat in mapview
Know issues:
- I need to switch GPS on and off several times to get it working (Omnia)
