    I am proud to present my second applet: infinitiHome v2 Black Edition


    Starting from the version v2, new themes, translations and custom sound profiles could be integrable and in an increadibly easy way.
    (see post #2 for some custom themes and details)

    I am working on a new version of infinitiHome
    (completed on paper and started to coding)

    the new version will not only have all of the existing functionality of v2, but also be much more advanced technically (makes use of object oriented programming, pointers and other advanced technics) and visualy (will use the available visual space much more efficiently)

    *removed the batterymeter on/off setting from the settings menu, it can always be hiden when visible by tapping on it.
    *known issue: clockhands are a little out of position (because of the new algorithm) will be fixed.
    *known issue #2: after restart with "the clock only" theme loaded, if you choose more complicated themes all of graphics is out of position, must restart once, will be fixed.

    Your translations are welcome!

    *Contains two themes, one is in the image above, other is quite near to infiniti v1 (added as an exemple of theme integration)
    for people interesting about customizable themes, I can provide technical requirements.

    *Contains seven sound profiles, and applet automatically supports custom profiles, I can give technical information on how to do this.
    Attention! the applet imposes choosen sound profile, so it overrides external changes on sound settings once activated.

    *SUB-APPLET section has Date, Operator and Sound Profile sub-apps

    *language selection would be on the fly, for instance must restart the applet to get language available. (it's a Pointui Home issue, I requested the improvement, this will be fixed on the next release)
    *programmable sound profiles (timer controlled or according to the appointments)
    *device-lock sub-applet

    Hints
    *to hide the batterymeter it's enough to tap on it.
    *to change sub-apps tap on the sub-app panel, click&hold to enable shortcuts
    *to get flight mode enable, click&hold phone button, to deactivate the flightmode a simple click is enough
    *to activate bluetooth click BT button, click one more time to get BT discoverable mode
    *to activate wifi click WF button
    *to start clock settings click the middle of the clock

    old version files removed:
    infinitihome v2 and v2.1 are downloaded 530 times in 4 days
    infinitihome v2.1.1 is downloaded 918 times in 2 weeks
    infinitihome v2.2 is downloaded 778 times in 2 weeks

    Any chance of a auto lock feature in the future? Seems to have it all other wise ;)

    Excellent work looks really good on my Diamond.
    I see that you have set yourself quite a long todo list and would like to ask for one more feature. When we go to the settings menu could you add the exit pointui feature. I find this applet handy to exit and free memory when I need but would be nice to have as a menu item and not waste an applet space.

    I'm still unable to let it work... even v0.7... I select it, but pointui won't load it returning to one of the other applets.
    It needs something special? I removed Today and World applets 'cause I don't use 'em.

    you should extract the zip file (must use the correct one; the VGA version will not work on a QVGA and vice versa) on \home2\appletribbon folder.

    the final folder structure should be: (I've a QVGA device)

    Hi Nimche,

    as said, this version partially supports themes, the applet has some restrictions about custom themes. If you provide theme PNG (or other format) files, I will edit and place in the second post, reserved for custom themes from infinitihome users, if you are interested about custom themes, I will provide restrictions and techinal requirements to realize custom themes.

    What do you want to change? Could you give me some change suggestions, maybe the applet is already capable to accept your changes (without changing any line of the code).

    Ok, but "custom themes" exactly means this. You can change the look of the applet, (the positions and textures of the clock, clockhands, buttons, icons, indicators; also you can hide some of them) and you are lucky, my code accepts this without the least change.

    for the total support of the "custom themes" I'm now working on the code, I'll change the code radically to make this possible.

    (My target is to support at least your infiniti v1 theme as a first custom theme for the v2 and if you accept it will take its place on the 2nd post)

    I know that I am lucky.
    Comment. Date line in that box, I don't see how necessary it is. If one doesn't really know its 2009 or even its march right now, they are really behind with life. That is taking space.
    What do you do in college? Programming?
