    it looks nice :) if it was qvga it would use. i think it would be easier to read if tasks was seperated by a line or something so the eye can transition, but thats just particulars. great job holg

    Just a bump, it's updated!!

    Thanks madhatter for your comment, as i have no qvga device here and no emulator installed, i can't make a qvga version right now. but maybe some people like the new version, as it fits the wheather applet and port it over.

    Hi,
    nice applet, I installed it. If now one could choose the calender to open appointments with, would be even better:-)
    Oh, on my Eten Glofiish x500+ the clock does not update, even not after switching to the applet.

    Ok folks, QVGA is ready ... it uses the same code, but I raped the Terms concept to have a graphics and layout ressource and so i can steer which resolution is layouted.

    I add some minor improvements, too!

    @jojojojojojo
    Calendar App support is planned.
    do you have the clock problems also with other applets? cause I use the code from today screen.

  13. For QVGA version I have a problem viewing apointments...
    They are too short (even if there is more space)!! see my screen.

    EDIT: Ok, I see the problem, It's due to the next word is too long (10 characters)... Maybe there is a way to show two lines for each appointment.. or select the option..

    I like where this app is going and appreciate all your work but
    the icon on the applet tab is huge!

    in the screen shot above you can see that its as big as the 4 main
    buttons. Could you shrink it to the same size as the other app icons
    so it doesn't stick out so bad?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    thanks for all your feedback,

    @caballero600
    I will have a look on that. But I think, that your appointment title is too long. but maybe i can stretch the label a little bit.

    @metalzoic
    yes that's a problem these are the vga icons and i can't control that other ones are taken. But I don't want to maintain two versions. May I'll find a solution, but temporarily you can take the icon.jif files from appointments applet.

    @jojojojojojo
    Yeah i have the issue from time to time, but with all time applets. Maybe there's a bug with the event handling in Home2. On next version I'll update the time on activating.

    During week I have not much time and next weekend I other things going on, so don't be upset, when the updates aren't that fast as last weekend.

    Great work Holg!! Lots of information!
    Works fine on my Touch Diamond

    Is there any way to launch the calender applicaiton or the task application directly from your applet? I mean, not opening just one event, but in order to see the month view, or to add a new item?

    Personally, I would also prefer to have day names like "thursday, friday" and so on in stead of dates in the case that the appointment is less than one week ahead. Avoids the counting ... ;-)

    Thanks a lot!!

    Hi Holg(er)?

    The clock is really a lucky strike, sometimes it works for days and sometimes not at all. A reboot sometimes helps, but not everytime.

    A special wish of mine, can you add two lines of the GOOGLE information like shown on the standard TODAY-Applet?

    Beside that, great work I really like it.

    I need help, I have the task settings to Sort: "By due date" and Filter: "Show Active"...this results in me not seeing any tasks...how do I fix this? I normally use spb diary for this same function but i would love to have it on this applet. I have at least 15 tasks over the next few days, all different assorted priorities and due dates. But most don't have start dates...just due dates. Any suggestions?

    maybe for the future you can add a way to "check off" the task without having to go into the task manager like spb diary

    Edit: and for some reason the regular task application is only showing 4 of my tasks if this helps to decipher whats wrong

    Hi,
    After many big fixes, there a 2.1 "compatible" version.

    Settings seems to do not work on a clean install (settings screen returns to home). I was unable to fix this problem... I have to sleep, to go to work tomorrow ;)
    The applet works with default settings...

    Thanks for the fix :) it works on my htc diamond

  26. The fix still seems pretty buggy on my diamond. Everytime I try to select tasks from the home menu it gives me a stack error. Hopefuly i can get it going because this is my first choice for a home screen

    Is there a way to change the default Calendar app? I would like SBSH Calendar touch to launch vs the basic WM calendar.

    Posted 8 months ago #
  28. I use the same calendar. There are 2 ways to do this. 1. Edit the cs file to point to it. 2. Copy the exe rename it calendar.exe and copy it to windows dir

    Hello,

    sorry for a newbie question - doing my first steps with pointui now.

    How do I install this applet ? Did download zip-file to my PC, did unzip, but how to go on ?

    Perhaps somebody may show me where to find the fm for rtfm :-)

    Regards and thanks in advance

    Dieter

    Got it done by myself :-)
